Planning Collaboration and Business Office (PCB) is responsible for the marketing and generating incomes so that huge or wider benefits can be brought to CARDI throughout Cambodia. Stronger relationship is now being forged between outside partners and relevant offices or research programs of CARDI to ensure their effective participation in consulta-tion and management training. While CARDI's current donors the basis to help the agricultural research in Cambodia, CARDI hopes that some of income will be generated by the office, working closely with the research programs, training and information center and other related offices could be expected to obtained more income. The PCB has been closely worked with each CARDI's division and provides input into training programs both generally and where such programs may have been introduced to CARDI through the PCB. CARDI is also maintaining contact with the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to appreciate and run financial matters of the significant tasks and contributions to the office that can make CARDI and their own operation put into action successfully.

- General Management: supervising, assisting, coordinating, consulting of the office tasks.    

- Liaison and Public Relationship: Keeping in touch, maintaining good relations with agencies, private sectors, farmers and other potential partners.    

- Proposal Development: developing project proposals, assisting all related programs.

- Business Management: reviewing business plan, setting sale and marketing process, seeking for business opportunities.

What is CARDI can Offer? CARDI's teams of highly professional staff currently operate across wide varieties of agricultural research fields. While working towards the general development of agricultural research in Cambodia, CARDI is also willing to participate in the projects and consultation with aid donors, client organizations and companies. CARDI can also offer high quality Breeder and Foundation Seed and other plant breeding materials that may be developed. The Training and Information Center of the Institute can assist in providing a wide range of training services to clients or customers, partners, and other programs of CARDI which can also help with the development of tailor-made applied-technology packages

Who and How to contact the office? CARDI's Planning Collaboration and Business Office has the authority to make general decisions concerning the institute's business programs and it obviously approaches the goals obtained for donors and potential client and partner organizations.
