CARDI is established in August 1999 by the Royal Government of Cambodia as a semi-autonomous institute.

VISION: Partnership for livelihood improvement and economic growth in Cambodia.

MISSION: Contribute to the Royal Government of Cambodia Policies on poverty alleviation and economic development.

GOAL: Deliver agricultural science and technology services impacting on farmer’s better livelihood and commercial agriculture sector.

ROLE: To provide significant contributions to Royal Government national research priority for sustainable agriculture, Rural development poverty and economic developing of Cambodia.

• 70 hectares experimental farm in HQ Phnom Penh

• Stations in provinces: Pailin, Preah Vihear and Siem Reap (developing)

• Working in partnership provincial department of agriculture, Donor agencies, national and international institutions, private enterprises and farmers.
